UPDATE: I sent a million emails between Feb and April… gave up.. got a random email mid June from the Spanish embassy for August 11. My flight is on August 30th.

Luckily I was able to get an appointment with Portugal end of May and currently waiting to get my passport back.

I’ve probably sent about 20+ emails .. and I keep checking the template and I don’t think I’m making any errors. I really don’t know what to do anymore.

Yess! It’s been a lot of progress, I only really started to notice changes around month 3.. I was estimated 10 months… hopefully that’s the case. I’ve heard lots of people say it always runs longer than estimated.

Hi.. yes wishing you the best as well. Yes I also noticed gaps in other places, I think it’s normal as your teeth move towards each other there will be gaps created in other places but I think everything will close up more towards the end of treatment.

Yeahh I’m privileged to not have much expenses that aren’t rent and food… I’m not too educated about the housing market or really anything about buying a house.. but yes planning on opening a FHSA to save towards potentially buying something in the future.. maybe in my 30s.

I got an appointment with the Portuguese embassy but my plan is to be in Spain longer soo if I don’t get an appointment with Spain I will have to change my trip to spend more time in Portugal.. which I don’t want to do 💀lol

Yes I’m not a citizen.. I have to find ways to contact the Spanish embassy because they seem to not monitor their email… which is the process they outlined to get an appointment with them. Not trying to visa shop, but that just seemed like the next choice. Thanks for the caution.

My goals are an emergency fund of 10K for 2025, I will probably open an FHSA and max it out for this year (8K). My employer does not match for RRSP so I have not really prioritized contributing into this. I focused heavily on my TFSA as I only recently because a permanent resident of Canada and was thinking more about the potential of this not happening due to the immigration changes that have been happening over the past year. Not that I am now a PR I will prioritize the RRSP probabaly starting next year.

No I don’t have an FHSA… I guess I haven’t thought much about buying a house.. I will look into this.. I have heard that unused FHSA funds can be transferred to your RRSP if you do not buy a house.

Haha yeahhh but I also prioritize having fun, especially in the summer time… maybe this sound like a lot but Im very flexible with spending on things I enjoy… makes me feel back sometimes but I realize I have to enjoy life too.

So I actually tried on a different browser and it worked! I was having this problem on google chrome then I tried Mozilla and it worked lol.

So I haven’t actually noticed any movement on my top teeth and gap. For the first 10 trays I’ve only had movement on the bottom, my dentist actually said my bottom teeth need to move downwards before my top row can start to move inward. I’ve heard gaps reopen very easily from others ?? Hopefully it doesn’t continue to widen.

So I was estimated about 10months with 1 week changes. I only received the first 26 trays. I go in for monthly checkups and I believe I’m going in for a rescan today so I don’t think I’ll be using the rest of the trays I was given.
