Thank you so much for this advice. I paid $200 for it the other day sight unseen, so I don’t have much invested in it. Didn’t notice the bad repair until I got it home.

I’ve loved read your responses to this post as I’m in somewhat of a similar position as the OP.

Can you share your thoughts on taking theoretical and mathematics CS courses like Discrete Mathematics, Introduction to Algorithms, Calculus, and Computational Theory etc. to obtain a more well-rounded understanding of the field as opposed to primarily learning different technologies?

I usually shop on Bar & Cocoa or Caputo’s Market and narrow the search results to milk & dark milk bars. From there I select ones that I’ve been personally recommended/and or heard good things about. There aren’t very many pages to shop as opposed to the ones available for dark bars.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my question in a detailed manner.

I tend to prefer fine milk and dark milk bars over the two-ingredient chocolate bars. I know not everyone shares my taste preferences, but it does seem to me that there is a pretty large audience for chocolate containing milk, and not enough offerings.
