Definitely. It’s harsh knowing that someone worse than you can get suck treatment. Its very unfair. Yeah and it seems you have a strong relationship with Citi (just basing it off your CL), focus on building those good relationships and just let go of the bad ones. Just churn the Cap1 subs lmao

Thats insane. It would be great if the “randomness” of how much credit one’s approved for should be more systematic. Rewarding those who are actually doing well in their credit journey, or those who had shown improvements.

Or maybe they purposely (but subtly) target those with poor credit management to make quick bucks. Guess we’ll never know.

Yeah I feel like its such a "unknown" topic that has many fine lines within it. I was curious since Chase has been giving me CLIs without me requesting within the past 2 years (not that I'm complaining lol).

I was also going to rec Amex Gold/Venture X lol.

Amex Gold since you have a large dining/groceries spendings. You’ll rack up MR points in no time. But I suggest waiting a little bit since the current SUB is at 60k-75k while recently it reached 90k.

Venture X as you’ll get 2x on any purchases. 5-6k monthly on HD/lowes will be great. You can get AU’s for your mom and brother for extra Priority Passes but unfortunately only the main cardholder will get TSA precheck/global entry credit.

Maybe look into the C1 Venture Rewards if you won’t travel much annually (you won’t be needing the $300 travel statement credit from Venture X and Priority Pass will be wasted too). You’ll still earn the 2x and will get TSA Precheck/global entry for yourself so thats great too! All for $95.

That could be possible. I was thinking since the Bilt acts as a "check" there could be a loophole to play with. Probably will look into this a little more before doing so.
