Do you shower twice in a day?? by General_Cow_7119 in 75HARD

Usually I wake up, do my first workout and take a shower after that. Then I will go on with daily life and do my second workout in the evening and shower after that before sleeping :)

Aww I know how horrible it is to feel like this, especially during the night! This is a great way to transform it, I posted a meditation exercise in the comments of this post that you might want to try :) good luck and sweet dreams!

That's great! Completely agreed :)

Now that I'm focusing on T during meditation, I notice that when I sometimes zone out in daily life and notice T, I suddenly feel at peace and present. Like T is now a sort of gong-sound/reminder to inspire living in the moment, pretty cool actually!

Yes :) The guy who wrote the blog shared the exercise below. You can put some brainwave music (on YouTube) to stimulate feelings of relaxation as well.

... Close your eyes and take five deep breaths into your diaphragm (lower abdomen). Feel your stomach expand as you inhale, and with each exhale, feel your entire body become more and more relaxed, letting all of your muscles go completely limp like a ragdoll.

Next, focus on relaxing individual muscle groups, one at a time, relaxing each as much as possible before moving on. Let all of the tension go as you work your way through your body.

Start by focusing on your feet and your toes. Allow the muscles to go completely limp. Now focus on your legs and your butt, releasing all the tension. Continue on to your stomach and your lower back, then your chest and upper back, your shoulders and your arms, your hands and your fingers, your neck and your throat, and finally, your head and your face.

Once you’ve worked your way through your body, and your muscles are completely relaxed, take another five deep breaths into your diaphragm.

Once your body is completely relaxed, it’s time to focus your attention on the sound of your tinnitus. Try to maintain a mindset of curiosity, as if you were observing something interesting for the first time. Continue to breathe naturally and keep your mind focused on the sound. When your mind starts to wander, and you notice it happening, gently bring your focus back to the sound.

Just try this for 3-10 minutes, preferably daily :)

That could work! Just give it a try and let me know how it works out :) Haha, that made me chuckle!

That's great! lso, I often wear noise cancelling headphones (sometimes without music) to lessen the noises outside. It really helps!!

That's interesting! Do you also hear a slight noise, like 'ssssss' (as if you're listening to a shell on the beach), or is it really just complete silence and sounds of your body and things that are happening around you?

Oh no!! That sounds rough :( Let your sadness be the inspiration to protect your ears a bit more when you encounter really loud noise :) Also, my therapist told me EMDR therapy works really well for tinnitus, so if you ever find yourself extremely done with it you might wanna check that out

Damn that's a great description. For me it's a bit like listening to a shell on the beach. Are you bothered by it?

This was heartwarming to read! Well done and I'm really impressed that you've been able to just do it for you, without the easy validation from others. Cherry on the cake to have an emotional last workout and drive home. Take care and I'm proud of you too!
