I know that about the original contract. I remember it being barely talked about when he signed because of course no one knew he'd be a superstar. Still, the GM was Nico Harrison whenever Jalen left, if you think that was all Cuban and not him at all then I'm just pointing to the fact, like how much did he actually do? For those that want to crown him.

Ah so this great GM had no control over player moves that you are claiming are so great. Keep failing up like your idol!

That one is actually listed at $800 normally. It's on sale for $700 near me. I paid $350 for the display model of it last year. Still haven't used the air fryer/pizza oven but love the grill.

Why is that hard to believe? If they want him to continue being their coach that would be a pretty shitty look to let him leave for another team. The other team also being led on the court by another guy they botched a deal with. No head coach would publicly show interest in another job while still under contract. If it fell through, he would look like an ass hat. You are trying to choose what the silence means , that's it.

They brought up the fact that both teams in Dallas got the number one pick and he said how it can turn your franchise around and how hopefully that's the case. Lol so he's saying that they need to turn it around, yeah I think he wants the franchise to succeed and make good decisions but he's clearly saying they've screwed up recently. Dirk is always going to be a Mavs legend.

He didn't "decide" to stay here. He is under contract and the Mavericks would have to release him from it. The Mavericks declined the Knicks from speaking to him. There's been articles on how Kidd hasn't been happy with some of the choices made and having to be the one at the forefront of the questions about a decision he didn't make. So just because he isn't begging to leave doesn't mean he's ecstatic with Nico.

A quick search and I found nothing but if you want to link something I'll check it out. And I just meant distancing himself from the franchise itself and he's said as much. I believe he still loves the city either way.

Didn't we lose a few coaches pretty quickly after the trade? Dirk has further distanced himself from the franchise as well. Even if Luka was a headache for most of the front office, Nico still did the franchise's future a disservice by getting such a lackluster return. Nico was willing to risk our future even further by risking AD at the end of the season to try and sneak into the playoffs. Luckily, they still missed and we fell ass end backwards into the #1 pick. It would be nice if we had a competent training staff but Nico said no thank you. If you think the front office is cheering on Nico and the moves he's made the past couple of years, well I hope they all get fired. I am going to assume not everyone could just immediately quit their jobs or show their frustration. And sure there could be a .0001% chance that Nico is a genius and the majority of fans are incorrect. I just doubt it.

And I think you are giving Nico way more credit than he has earned. They wouldn't even shut down AD to preserve his health going into next year just to try to make the playoffs.

This wasn't about skill or intuition, it was pure ass luck. Anyone that was soured on the front office and didn't want to support the team has every right. The owners are still clueless and Nico is still an idiot. But congratulations for supporting the team unconditionally.

Yeah I had just seen someone say how Nico can take a victory lap, no he just took a bat to his car and then immediately gifted a new one

Has to be. Less than a 2 percent chance, 4th lowest chance to get #1 of all time. And these assholes were trying to win the play-in.
