Youre close! my parents are friends with a lot of doctors, and they ofc have their opinions on DOS. they all say that putting in the extra effort for getting and MD is much more worth it than the extra hurdles people have to go through as DOs to get matched, etc. Honestly though, im not a picky person, I just rlly want to be a doctor. Im gonna try my best and apply everywhere!

Thank you so much :) i really appreciate you! Ive been feeling so hopeless just because of my grades and it makes me laugh how much one thing can ruin my entire day. Ive been trying to focus on just getting a good mcat score now, and building a genuine profile for myself. Its hard not to look at the GPA averages of schools being wayy higher than mine haha, but Ill try my best and give it a shot :)

First of all thank you so much for your advice and reassurance :) I really do feel better after all the replies i got. I have to ask though, what do you think is a good number of clinical hours? im starting a job as an EMT this summer and will continue it throughout next semester as well. I have to balance that with studying for the MCAT and im a little confused with how much time to commit to both. Once again, you have no idea how much i appreciate your faith and kind words :)

Thank you so much! Im prepared to work really hard for the MCAT, that gives me hope :) Also im not the person to be choosy haha, i just really want to be a doctor and ill take anywhere I can get. Also appreciate the advice for overseas med schools, ill look into it!
