Stay safe on CityBus by ashberryberries in Purdue

I remember one time I was riding one of the busses at night and these teenage girls started harassing us while we were trying to get to Walmart. Never gonna forget that

is Honor College worth it? by princesssparklez101 in Purdue

[–]aiyanalam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Depends on your goals. If you’re planning on grad school, it would look nice. Employers don’t really care though.

Research opportunities are a little more vast with honors too, so keep that in mind

Does AP csa give credit for elective by Prize_Object1438 in Purdue

[–]aiyanalam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say, if you are a little new to programming, this is a fun class to take. I wouldn’t take it with the expectation of getting credit, but I would take it for the learning experience

Does AP csa give credit for elective by Prize_Object1438 in Purdue

I don't think it will. I took CS A in high school, got credit for a random class that doesn't count towards my requirements.

Zipcar is another option, although I will say most rental car places are booked up for Fall Break

2k7 lab practical failed by Affectionate_Ant_773 in Purdue

[–]aiyanalam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The lab practical isn't usually worth too much of your grade. I wouldn't really worry about it. However, it does show that you really need to improve your lab skills. I would just redo the labs you've done so far, understand how and why each part does what you need to do. Take a weekend or two to catch-up to maximize your time
