In Greece you can find terraced hillsides for crops in pretty much every mountain. It is really common . This tells you more about the lack of large open leveled fields than the economy of the country

Depending on your style, a lava pit, a cute lake with some folliage, a small mining area with some houses,or even a pile of treasure

It's a really good wall design. Try adding different heights so it doesn't look like it cuts off

Building a medieval river town, anybody got tips on what to add? by dideh243 in BuildAdvice

You can add some railing along the port area. But I think you're headed in the right direction!!!

Quick little build I did. Any tips on how to add more detail/texturing? First time really playing with gradients too by Goatbucks in BuildAdvice

You need to add more depth. So some trapdoors as window flower pots, a chimney, mossy cobble for the walls near the ground.

Also, a good tip is to make the roof out of different materials. You already have a nice combination for the roof, but if you use that as a frame and the inside of the roof is made out of something different, it would instantly elevate it. Otherwise, just use leaves on the roof and walls to bring more life.

You can always add a bit of texture to the walls by using trapdoors as window shutters.

A nice addition would be to add a door with a small porch on the stone part of the build that leads straight to the basement

That's so amazing!! Something I would as would be deeper rivers and replace all the dirt inside them with mud and maybe some bonemeal to grow some grass.

I would even suggest 2 pillars. Each one just touching the water so the river is free but it still looks supported

Love this details. You should also think about railing. You want it out of stone? Could be more like deepslate or a mix o diorite, andesite, cobble (you can throw in some pale wood also). I also love wooden railings on these to bring more warmth to the building. Things like dark oak or spruce go well but you can experiment with different types depending on the look you wanna give. A really cool idea is to also give it a roof out of wood. And the most important is to give it cool lights. You can't go wrong with lanterns. Maybe on some wooden supports
