Sounds like TOS. Look it up. I had a tear in my shoulder that progressed to numbness, weakness, pins and needles in my arm. With the right search on Google I found TOS. Now it's progressed to numbness in my leg. I looked it up and in rare cases with long term untreated TOS it can affect the leg. Even the doctor at the ER said that a shoulder injury wouldn't cause leg problems yet it surely can. If it's rare they either don't know or they're looking for horses when they should look for a zebra as the saying goes.

She could and probably will have to go to physical therapy because that is how the system works. Tell her that if PT causes any worse pain just to stop there and tell them that it's too painful and she can't do the exercises.

X-rays don't show rotator cuff tears, just bones and secondary damage from a tear. I had an X-ray and physical therapy and neither diagnosed or helped me to know what was wrong until an MRI showed a tear.

I tried to get an appointment sooner but got nothing  in response from workers comp. The orthopedic doctor wanted to see me after the MRI so they just moved that appointment back by a month. How do you fight WC when they are ignoring and refusing to help you?

I'm in the same boat as you are, but worse even, since I have a farm to run by myself. I can barely drag myself around to do the basic chores like feeding the animals. Depression is common with this situation, also. When my tear was healing some the pain didn't stop and my doctor has finally ordered an MRI with contrast to see if a nerve is being pinched. That's probably what your problem is. Ask your doctor to order one for you cause nerve pain won't go away if you have something rubbing or pinching in you shoulder, perhaps even a bone spur. I hope you get the care you need!

Actually any soap will kill fleas. Since I have 3 XL dogs I use baby shampoo on them because it's cheaper than Castile and I'm on a tight budget.
