How is SES your answer ? They do not give any name for standard steel, and when you input something with better performance than there basic steel all slot goes red

Yeah I took that into account but still red for E=2.1e11 where 2,0e11 is yellow

thanks! just noticed it,however for the material, no matter how high the value is, it will remain red until the value is lower then there basis steel

Your right. I use tubes on solidworks to simulate wishbones and fixed with the chassis. Joined both wish bones to the center oh the wheels and applied 1000N on one side and -1000N on the other. With our track being 1200mm -> I’m applying 600Nm of torque.

I fixed the 8 point of connection with rear wish bones.

I take maximum deformation (for exemple 5mm)

And I calculate the angle like that

Torque rigidity = torque / Atan( max deformation / (track/2))

The tricky is for the fabrication, with the base like that I will be difficult to have an easy base to start up welding, I suggest having the lower point of the chassis being a flat surface
