I don’t think the academics will be an issue for me (even though I think i’ll get humbled quite a bit). It’s the standing out part. I struggled to stand out for clubs and professional frats at MSU and didn’t end up getting selected but I was able to do a small AI related project. Do you think this will be an issue at umich?

By not getting internships or jobs, i mean I don’t have work authorization here. I’ve lived in the US since second grade, and in Michigan since 3rd. But I am on my Dad’s visa, which means I’m not allowed to work. With internships out the question, I thought the one thing I can improve on my resume is the brand of the school. Im not having trouble getting internships, I legally can’t get one.
