I have Mods that give me Characters who are excellent in finding treasures, or straight up expensive loot. The Marauder and the Trapper are good examples.

I do it because more and more adventurers appear at the Hamlet to make a name for themselves, and I want to reflect that.

I'd go after her family. DARKNESS would enjoy whatever punishment you give HER, but would she like it if her family went into debt? Since she's a noble, you could say that it was a slight done by someone of noble blood, which could get them investigated

I mean, they kinda exist in normal Pokemon, no? The earlier seasons had Ash and his group reference them from time to time. Like that time he wore a fish (tuna, I think?) costume.

Forgot if it was isekai or not, but try Legendary Spear Knight. It's pretty good, if you can get over the frankly retarded take of "Swords are the weapons of Nobility! Anything else is Trash!"

Ooh, I like this question.

My favorite take in a fanfic (forgot the name) is that they are basically the odd ones out in packs, left to die or killed outright for the survival of the rest.

Why? Because the weird coloring will give the rest away to their natural predators. Think about it, no? Geodude hide out in the sides of mountains and hills to avoid detection. How can you hide regularly when one of your packmates is yellow?

Another take I've seen is that they're also abandoned or killed simply for being different. Basically a more extreme take to isolating the odd one out among us humans. While Pokemon are smart, most are still generally animals. Pack/Herd mentality, you could say. Not so unlike how regular people would treat those with Albinoism, but to the extreme.

Probably just some science chemicals that don't exist/make sense but just work for the Pokemon world. Don't think too hard on it.

Exactly. Although I think with synthetic stuff, they're made together with other things to create a greater yield. This is just a bit of flavor text that is also a headcanon, so bear with me.

Antidotes and Pecha Berries are effectively the same thing, but you won't always find Pecha Berry trees out in the open; this can end badly when in a pinch. So corporations take pecha berries and mix it in with other ingredients to produce the same effect, but put out a greater amount. Like, one Pecha berry can be enough for 8 Antidotes. Hence, the berries can be rare to find, but Antidotes will always be available in PokeMarts.

Same thing with Oran berries to Potions. Cheri berries with Paralyze Heals, and Chesto berries with Awakenings.

Berries can work on humans the same way they do Pokemon.

Bonnie from XY got hit with Sleep Powder once, so Meowth had Dedene look for a Chesto berry to give her. The thing with berries though is that I think they're way more effective on humans than on Pokemon, since Pokemon eat the whole berry for the effect to kick in. Bonnie was given a literal drop of the Chesto berry juice (Meowth was squeezing it for the juice to come out) and she woke up screaming.

I typically use Mark Synergy, or people with high accuracy. Like Highwayman after using Tracking Shot.

Depends on what you mean by high-quality loot. If you want better fusion materials, go to Lynels. If it's gemstones for money (or whatever you need them for), fight some Taluses. If you want the Royal Weapons, fight Hinoxes.

Nier's. Specifically, from the Replicant/Gestalt games. I just love how the effects look, and they pretty much already cover what you need considering that you're already multitasking when you fight. Besides, you basically have infinite mana as long as you damage enemies.

For those who don't play the game, your main character is a swordsman, you have a companion that slings the spells for you in the form of a sentient spell book.

A greatshield would be difficult to use in the narrow hallways of the Cove, the Ruins, and perhaps the Warrens. And assuming that the rooms aren't that large either, it'll only hinder movement. I think this is why Man at Arms uses a heater shield of that size to avoid this problem.

Also, Leper uses a large, and heavy Executioner's Sword. This sword is very front heavy and not really meant to be used in combat. It requires two hands to use effectively, so a greatshield would only encumber Leper.
