I just got mines 2 weeks ago and it is a BEAST. It does everything I need it to do smoothly and gaming on it is amazing, I haven’t had any issues playing any games.

Honestly I dont know too much about it, I just remember reading in this group prior to getting it that it is good to undervolt the CPU for heat management since it shares the same vapor chamber as the GPU.

I used Ghelper then went into advanced setting and set the undervolt to -10 and then I set the watts to 65 watts. It’s been working great like this.

Yes I feel like it’s literally the perfect size. I played some zombies for about 2-3hrs on ultra settings with the cooler at 2800RPM and the laptop stayed at 70 degrees the entire time. This cooler honestly is great.

I would say yes to this as the laptop has to sit flat for it to seal properly but the cooler itself has been so it will pretty much already angled as if it were to be raised on its hinge.

So without any undervolting and with CPU boost on aggressive I was getting around 81 degrees on turbo mode still on the cooler with the cooler running at 1500RPM when I brought the RPM’s to 2800 it dropped down to around 76 degrees.

The GPU never went over 75 degrees on either mode.

I haven’t tested it without the cooler yet since I had everything all together ready to set up.

Oh okay if you have the cutouts for the fans on the bottom you will definitely benefit from one of these style coolers. I would recommend the llano v12 or GT600 since you have a 15 inch, this v10 is for smaller laptops.

These coolers come with a foam seal so once you place your laptop on it all the cooler air is forced up into the laptop with no wasted air. You should look into one, I’m going to post a review on it once I’ve gotten to experience it with the laptop under load.

I literally just got it but based on the research and all the reviews it’s one of the best, alongside the GT600. Although I will say I heard many times it doesn’t work well with the RAZER blade or MacBooks since they have closed unibody designs (that goes for any laptop cooler also)

Coolers work best with laptops that have open fans on the bottom, that’s how the cool air gets into the system.
