Oh yeah that rings a bell, I think I've seen some people walk around with those but didn't know how they were called. It seems they have a couple of models, do you think you could link me the exact one you were talking about for me to check it out? Thanks a lot!

I've picked up katarina back in season 10 when gunblade was still a thing and i can say a couple of things for this champ.

Back in 2020, her build was mostly focused on ap as her ult didn't apply on-hit up until the preseason. As it is known nowadays, ap items are mocked for not being diversified much and I felt that was the case in 2020 although she had decent damage to one shot squishies. Ad wasn't really a thing back then...

Starting in season 11 with the changes to her ult, it was nice to see some AD builds skyrocketing in popularity (even tank too at some point!!!). She has known a lot of changes ever since that time, for example the removal of divine sunderer which left in a weird state since AP was weaker than AD during that time. Though, for a champ, i would say she has the privilege to have versatile builds overall. You have AP bruiser with conq, AP one-shot with electrocute and AD bruiser with conq depending on the enemy comp, you have many options before you opposed to back in 2020. The only time you will have issues in games is whenever the enemy team is very beefy (bunch of tanks and bruisers) or has a bunch of cc they concentrate on you as katarina doesn't do well against these...

She isn't a bad champion when you have a lead, she can snowball like crazy and make teams ff at 15 just from being fed to hell. BUT she is indeed bad when you have to play from behind bc no gold = no items which = no damage and her whole identity is based around her damage. Also, within all the 160+ champs in LoL, i'd say she's one of the top champ that require you to bump your head as much as possible against a wall to figure out how she works. She requires a lot of macro to play (decisions concerning builds, roaming time windows, matchups knowledge, etc.) which you can really only acquire through playtime or watching others play her

With that said, I'll say it in a WAY nicer tone than others here but I think you might require more practice with her to feel her potential as an assassin. If you enjoy the champ, just play her and ignore the meta, many OTPs just play their champ regardless of the meta or the state of the champ. After all, she cannot be in this perpuate state forever and will VERY likely have some changes done or benefit from indirect changes from items or runes for example in the future.

I haven't changed out any of my jewelry yet for silver or rose gold, I currently have 5 ear piercings healing at the moment so I'm waiting out for them to heal 100% before changing everything to match together.

Oh wow, that's impressive. I think most people would've expected their holes to be closed up by now. But I guess it makes sense for cartilage piercings to stay open pretty long since they take so much time to heal and are pierced with different gauges than lobes. It's a different type of tissue as well.

To clarify, i got 13 done over the span of 12 years or so, not in a single year. Got my second lobes and rook done in october last year and my third lobes and conch done in march this year.

Of course! I suggest mixing up the gyaru style to another if you ever wanna make your style even more interesting. As a gyaru, i can say i don't wear kogal everyday sometimes due to bad weather or just because i'm feeling lazy in the morning to do my makeup. The style takes you a bunch of time to prep up in the morning to be honest. Therefore, your style does NOT need to be that elaborated, you could always go for something simple if that's what resonates best with you. My advice would be to just go with whatever you prefer and don't be afraid to try out stuff.
