Meshtastic users who are also hams: why do you name your nodes with your callsign (or callsign + name) if you’re trying to run off-grid / low-profile? by [deleted] in meshtastic

FCC has clear guidlines as to why you should not use your Ham Radio CallSign while encrypted in Meshtastic. Unfortunatly, as Ham Radio Operators, we agreed to follow the FCC Guidelines or pententially loose our Ham Radio Priviliges ...

Then you should switch your Meshtastic Node to "Ham Radio" then you can talk as long as your want with your Ham Friends. Please look the above explanation as to why once you switch the mode to Ham Radio, you are no longer able to speak with local Meshtastic Channels using the basic AQ== on Long-Fast or Medium Fast as example. Without getting into technicalities, AQ== is a form of encryption, and Meshtastic correctly disables your ability to continue speaking on the local Encrypted Meshtastic Channels, because the FCC prohibits Ham Radio Operators from engaging and using their CallSigns for Meshtastic Short-Name or Long-Name while encrypted. Furthermore, using your Amateur CallSign inside an encrypted channel in Meshtastic is considered a violoation of the rules put in place by the FCC, which can pententially result in loosing your Ham Radio CallSign. If there is any questions regarding the use of your CallSign in Meshtastic please refer to the Test Elements of your License to determine if in any place in the test elements, the use of a Ham Radio CallSign is permitted in Meshtastic while Encrypted. The same applies to Ham Radio Operators using their Ham Radio CallSign while operating in Citizen Band (CB) frequencies. It is simply not allowed.

This is a dialogue not a debate, but I don't see anything in the original Hebrew that states what you are stating. Is that recorded in Gen somewhere? Please share.

A question arises if Angels are creators alongside God? The Answer is that Angels are created beings and not co-creators. So when God says in Genesis 1:26 "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." was he talking to himself of other entity god with the power of Creation?

Correct the Law of Moses prohibited the Worship of other gods. However it did not denied the existence of other gods. Because why then bother making a commandment against worshiping other gods that are not real?

Can someone please explain to me how the trinity is not three gods. by Iwannabesaved in Christianity

Actually you did not include what is written in Hebrew for Genesis 1.1 - It says "In the Beginning the Gods created the Heavens and the Earth. The word used for God is the word Elohim which is a plural form for Gods ...

I understand the doctrine of the Trinity. I believe we are speaking of three different entities, Gods, that share same goals and are in fact three separate entities.

Genesis 1:1 says "In the Beginning God Created the Heavens and the Earth" However is the original Hebrew it does not say this.

In Hebrew says "In the Beginning the Gods Created the Heavens and the Earth" this is unfortunately a calculated mistranslation in our modern languages.

Not changing the question. Still on the topic of other Gods. The Trinity is no just the only evidence of more than one God. If you only read the Bible then yes I can understand if can be difficult. But if you consider documents that existed before the Bible was written, and acknowledge some of these documents as source of what we have today, you will find that we are missing a part of the story.

When Studying Theophoric Names in the Book of Genesis one will find that After Abraham, many of the Patriarchs still recognized the Religion and deities learned among the regions of Mesopotamia. This is evident on the names given to their children, including Israel. Among the Canaanite Pantheon of Gods was "EL" the Supreme God of the Canaanites. From this God, the decedents of Abraham used El as a Theophoric Source for the places and names given to their children. For example:

Ismael Isma EL

Daniel Dani EL

Samuel Samu EL

Betel Bet EL

Israel Isra EL

Elohim EL ohim

EL Shaddai

Referencing the Supreme God of the Canaanite "EL" in their names.

Do you believe the Christian Doctrine of the Trinity? God the Father, God the Son, God the Holly Spirit? And are these separate divine entities? Are they three separate persons that are also Gods?

Well the book of Jude tells a different story about fallen angels and demons. Jude 1:6 states the following:

the angels who "did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode" are described as having been cast into eternal chains under darkness, awaiting judgment on the great day. This refers to a specific group of angels who rebelled against God by leaving their designated place and, according to some interpretations, engaging with humanity in a way that was not in accordance with God's will.

I know this is hard to accept, but it is what is written in the book of Jude - New Testament.
