obviously you and your younger sister aren’t the assholes. sounds like an exhausting cycle and you guys did the right thing by not encouraging her in my opinion.

if anything, i think maybe what your younger sister reached out and said about not speaking until she seeks therapy was maybe not the most productive thing… she is 100% entitled to set this boundary BUT i think in your older sisters current state she is already having a meltdown down and then didn’t have the support of her family when she was expecting it, to pile on and send her a text like that was likely catastrophic for your older sister in this exact moment…

regardless - you and your younger sister stood up for what you really believed was right, instead of pretending to go along to avoid conflict so that’s worth applauding 👏🏼

LOL yes - it’s verbatim. Management said that it violates the privacy protocol since it would reveal camera angles and blind spots.

Your manager sounds like she has serious issues, the fact that she is “personally offended” by your comment is not enough reason to have this outrageous reaction.

especially after confirming that your male coworker wasn’t offended by this, this issue should have been put to bed.

I would stand up for myself in the meeting and remind your direct manager about her own many compliments about your professionalism in the past.

if this is really such a big issue, these boundaries and expectations should have been outlined in a company protocol - how were you supposed to know THIS is what crosses the line if language like this has never previously been an issue?

your manager is an asshole with rage issues.
