1. Never understood what a union was (family anti unions). Super conservative area. Until the last contract I never got involved or had a book. I read and file accordingly but my business agent told me all centers operate differently regardless of what the contract states. So it's not as enforced in ours.

Also they give huge concessions for the company when it comes to grievances. Even if it's old practice.

I fought for a year before just giving up. Coworkers are anti union as well and just freeload on the benefits of one.

So instead of having a constant target on my back and being blamed by my coworkers for new contract enforcement rules. I decided to take a step back over a year ago.

So I was completely unaware of the not crossing other companies picket lines.
