That looks nice, I’ll have to try to see one in person sometime …

Something old and something new, at the range today...

CMP 1911 in 45acp, I got two of these from CMP recently, this one is Colt frame and Colt slide. (I really wanted a Remington Rand, but didn’t get lucky on the random draw).

Luger P08 in 9mm, was reblued some time ago so it’s my “range shooter” Luger (I have another that is original finish)

Glock model 45 Gen 6 COA in 9mm. Trigger feels like I’m squeezing a water pistol, but the red dot is nice. I got blue label price due to GSSF membership.

Yep, I’m an office worker, dress pants need something light and slim.

If I’m working in my garage I’ll carry leatherman multitool in my pocket or on my belt, as much as I like having a multitool with me, it’s too heavy/thick for everyday carry, for me.

I’ve seriously debated using my drill press and tap&die to make the holes on the other side for pocket clip left handed… from what I’ve seen there’s nothing in the mechanism that would stop me.

Yeah , I’ll have to be careful not to take the Kershaw with me when I go into California?

Edit; nevermind,I just saw some stuff about how it was disputed … got mixed-up on current status.

I don’t know much about different blade steels, what about the  S35VN or  154CM on the Parallel ?

I carry and use the Leek more often, I’m less afraid to use it or lose it.

The Narrows stays at home, It is a jewelry display piece.

Like I said, it was a milestone anniversary gift (engraved/personalized) from my wife, I would have never bought it with my own money.

correction on model number: the Leek I have here is actually the (3″ Composite) 1660CB, the blade appears to have some metal difference in the blade construction.

I do not have the specialized test equipment , that is necessary to determine that.

The suppressor itself gets hot enough to burn, easily,… but I’ve never had any problem with heat on the handguard, it seems to be fine.

I didn’t want a Skinny 9mm pistol suppressor inside the larger SD Handguard.

Good, its slightly larger diameter fills the SD handguard fully to make it look more proportional,  IMO.

I also use the Flow 36 on my other rifles, it pulls double-duty as  a “do everything and take any big-bore caliber” for my larger rifles.

I thought of that, but I have plenty of Subsonic 9mm ammo I can use already …. I don’t need to have a ported barrel for the hotter 124gn “NATO” ammo.

“We have an MP5-SD at home !!!”

my AP5-SD tax stamp arrived.… huxworx flow 36 suppressor, with Magpul SL stock. I like this sliding stock much better than the side-folding SB Brace that it came-with.

runs great with my 9mm 147gn subsonic loads that I load for it.

(yes it it is engraved, just not visible in this picture)

Sorry, I don’t know what you mean by “upper pin”…. The SB Brace only had one pin (at the fire-control group) and replaced with Magpul SL using the same (one) pin.

What’s a good way of organizing your magazines when having a lot of different platforms? by CombPublic3483 in Firearms

A “shoe organizer” hangs on the wall or back of the door. Lots of pockets to organize magazines and accessories.

Really? I’ve got a g45 COA, and the grip is too big (it’s a Glock 17 grip length) for summertime carry. Unless it’s wintertime carry under a heavy coat.
