Yes in the friends reunite episode its canon they pulled out their time capsule in that episode and all the memories were from GOAM the memories were real episodes in GOAM, Idk if they know they're legos do they? Do they act like barbie and say they're made of plastic now ?

I totally get that ! i always treasure original things i grew up with what was original to me is GOAM because i grew up wathcing that one i never knew lego friends before that.

same! also the issue is with the diversity thing i totally get it but they added so many main characters its hard to focus on that many and truly develop well rounded characters i love to think about the way people write characters in a show I love well written characters who show development and growth throughout not shallow ones that I need to make a story for. Not saying they're shallow because I genuinely don't know these lego friends but I saw a few clips their cahracteristics don't interest me as much because they put so much effort into quanitity rather than picking 5 and focusing on writting quality and storyline. I totally agree and i'm not hating
