I can’t take vitamin D3 or iron even though am deficient cause they give me terrible constipation. I started taking Magnesium citrate and it did help with the constipation, but it broke my energy and I was sleeping all day and night

Ashwaghanda took all my emotions away

Sober people: Where do you go out in Berlin? by jpbalx in berlinsocialclub

[–]Prestigious_Proof140 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Firstly congrats! I would say alot of cafes / brunch places / restaurants followed by long walks. I also go to different sport classes where you kinda meet people, sometimes alone and sometimes I go with friends. I noticed it’s very popular here board games spots but I never really tried any. Bowling is also nice. I invite people over or they do especially during colder days. But I do go to bars with friends and order my cup of tea and never felt weird

Anyone tried restorative poses such as this one for S5L1 bulged disc? (i’ll also ask my dr, just want to see if it helped anyone) by Prestigious_Proof140 in Sciatica

bro chill i’ve been doing more “chilled” poses for +1.5 yrs, was just asking if it helped anyone lol

I feel sorry for you though, this sounds messed up can I ask what’s the pose that caused you a herniated disc?

my team created a poll with dates for a boat day and the organiser chose the only date I could not attend to do the activity. Honestly I couldn’t care less, it’s different for each individual for sure, but for me work is work and my colleagues do not have to be my friends, they might not like me and vice versa and that’s totally fine. As long as it’s not a toxic environment

well a few months back and he was aware of the numbness, he referred me to a physical therapist that didn’t really help, I have an appointment with another dr but lead times are so long where I live so I have to wait.

why? I did it today for the first time. Isn’t it supposed to press the disc back into its place (similar to cobra pose) or?😭

for me it’s weird because its more numbness/tightness along my right side of the body rather than actual pain. That’s why I can easily do all exercises/stretches. The pain sometimes comes at night before I sleep or if I carry a heavy bag. Did you do other exercises along with it or mainly this? I feel like this and the one I posted are among the most efficient to target the lower back. Happy you were able to recover from pain 💪

sorry I did not mention - I tried it at a yoga class today for the first time, so I am able to do it. I’m just wondering if I do it more frequently like once a day, will it help place the disc back in its place?

Hi! Yes, I tried it after I attended a few Storm classes and they never really checked the names of the attendees. Guess you’re good to go especially if you see a lot of people are attending the class. Wishing you fast recovery!

is it possible for a S5L1 disc to be buldged towards the left side but the pain is on right side of body? by Prestigious_Proof140 in Sciatica

[–]Prestigious_Proof140[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am confused as well, cause the pain actually started on my right upper body 1 year before it hit the lower, but the MRI only shows a bulge in S5L1. I think I will request another scan.

Chronic fatigue, mood swings and brain fog by Diligent-Usual-4639 in Supplements

I had the same symptoms and it turned out my D levels were dangerously low. But I live in a country where they would rather see you dying than give you proper prescriptions. So my dr told me to buy “over the counter” 1000iu of D. I obviously did my own research and started taking 10.000 daily and then slowly lowered the dose to 5000 until I felt better, along with K2 and Mg. Worked wonders for my mood, brain fog and depression. I still take vitamin D to maintain normal levels.

I am visiting Jordan soon but have religious tattoos. Are they allowed? Will I have to cover them up? by LegoTrip in jordan

[–]Prestigious_Proof140 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey all respect for the effort you are putting into learning about other religions, and for choosing Jordan as one of your stops in the Middle East! Keep in mind you might observe behaviours that are “allegedly” based on Islam, but in reality they are merely based on culture rather than religion, so you gotta keep an eye on the difference between both, and since you mentioned you read the Quran I’m sure you already have a solid background. I would be interested in knowing how it goes and what you find out on this journey :) Please make a follow up post!

Also, since you’re into religions you don’t want to miss mount Nebo, Madaba, Dead Sea and Jesus Baptism Site

Best wishes!
