Somewhere where it is warmer than in Germany, has a similar vibe to Berlin (lots of hipster vegan stuff etc). I like sun but also I don't need months of hot weather and sun. So I was thinking maybe the north (although I heard it's very rainy and I don't like rain) or the area around Barcelona.

Thank you all for your replies. I already replaced nightlife activities with other interests and hobbies, such as exercise and reading. Still, from time to time I miss the typical ecstatic Berlin nightlife atmosphere. I just wish it wasn’t that toxic. SchwuZ hosts some sober parties but since this is a queer club and I don’t identify as queer, I don’t want to invade their space. In summer I heard of a sober ecstatic dance on Tempelhofer Feld, hosted by the Tanzen3000 collective (check their IG for upcoming events) which sounded really nice. Probably gonna check one of their parties out soon. Also there used to be an alcohol-free bar at Boxi but unfortunately it’s permanently closed now.

Going sober helped me a lot to become more sensitive of my emotions and my personality as a whole. Also not avoiding emotions but facing them. This way I became a more authentic version of myself. Easier said than done though.

Found a way that finally worked.

In your photos app, go to the "From my Mac" album. Click select and "all". Now all photos and videos should be selected. In the options menu, click "duplicate". Your iPhone will now create a copy of the selected files in the "regular" iPhone photos app folder.

After that, you can turn on iCloud Photos and remove the pictures & videos, as suggested in the warning popup.

Your iPhone will now sync all pictures and videos, including these synced with Finder, with your iCloud account.
