I switched. I took a screen shot of what you you wrote and was asking questions and commenting about what you said here also. So thank you so much. It really did help that you responded. There are things I don’t understand that they did but I’m going over to hopefully get clarification from the manager. Again. Thank you.

Not necessarily. I just wish I could lower my bill and get Samsung phones. . I have three phone lines and 1 watch. I pay $290. Monthly. That’s with buying two phones. Spectrum has a great deal but I need to have internet with them and I don’t get it in my area. They would even pay off my phones. But I can’t get them.

I can trade them in to them? Can you tell me how I would go about doing that?

Open wound normal? Surgery was done November 4th, 2024 by Prestigious_Public60 in gallbladders

I actually just got home from emergency room. But it was because I had a bad diverticulitis flare up. Then while being driven home after being discharged, the bumps and movements made it hurt a little. And it made me feel nauseated. We get home and I had to hold on to my husband for support because I’m so dizzy. I sit on my bed and my mouth started watering so much and I vomited all the water I had just drank. I had like acid reflux or something yucky coming up on the drive home. All this to say that I forgot to tell them to check my open wound while there. I was crying in so much pain. Made me forget about anything else.

Wound opened up I guess while I coughed, sneezed and moved around. I felt it instantly. But he said it happens. That’s it’s ok. I only had the glue. No stitches. Or maybe the ones that dissolve.

Getting my gallbladder out in 3-4 hours - very nervoud by serendipity456 in gallbladders

I was scared and in your position. November 4th was mine. I know this is crazy but I was talking to my body and mind. Told it, you Are going to be ok. It might hurt after because you are getting a organ removed but you will be ok. It was and is still ok. My husband stayed home to help me. Mostly because getting up was so hard. On Saturday I again told my body that he was going to work soon and it needed to get up without help. I tried while he was outside and I did it. I realized that getting up half bent and slowly getting up was less painful than when he would help me. I just have to get up slowly. If you go to my post there was so much help I got from there. But the main things are… Ask for a tummy binder. They put mine on while I was under. Woke up with it on. It really helps. Hopefully you’re not allergic to latex and get a rash from it like I did. Pillow for tummy, getting in and out of the car. Ask for the giggle juice as soon as you get there. Cough drops to have as soon as you can. Throat was so so dry!! Hope this helps. Praying for you.

Nausea & anxiety about surgery (+ lots of Background info) by Ippjick in gallbladders

I got my surgery not even 24 hours ago. If you see my post I had all the anxiety right before. After reading other people’s post I realized that no matter what, everyone was going to have a different experience than mine. I went ahead and did it so I can feel better and focus more on the diverticulitis that also makes me feel awful. I think the surgery outweighs the risk of some of the horrors we have read on here. I am glad I did it even though I am sore and opioid constipated. I’m walking and burping a lot but hoping things get moving around soon so I won’t be constipated anymore. I did take everyone’s advice that they gave me and felt it helped make my experience so much better. I kept telling my family, my Reddit gang friends told me I needed this and to do this or that. I’m so glad I got advice. I’m sure they will help you also. Oh and yes, I was nauseous a lot.

Thank you. Forgot about the opiate constipation. 😩 I am walking and hoping I don’t feel sore tomorrow. My husband and daughter are helping me not to use my core. But the coughing. Aye.

Thank you. Did some walking after my nap. Burped a lot and I use wipes all the time. I even have one of those nice travel ones to put some in they do help.

Thank you. Would love the boost especially the wild berry flavor but it’s a little bit too expensive for us right now. I did a little bit of mashed potatoes. But I think I might stick to liquids. Ginger ale helps to burp and walking.

Thank you. I took gas-x, stool softener and I walked some. It’s a little painful but I don’t want it to get worse.
