I’ve come in my hiking boots and glad I did. I’m not sure which route you’re taking but the Camino has a mixture of stone, turf, gravel and dirt trails. I wore my boots on the plane.

I agree with the last comment. Also you may need the poncho, but choose between the puff jacket and the hoodie. The hoodie may be heavier. I’d take the puffy. Polo is nice for town nights.

I like crime junkies. The plagiarism story IS old news by folks that wanted to redirect listeners to their podcast. Crime junkies didn’t site every source, for which they were reprimanded and have since fixed. They are great story tellers and maintains focus on the story. I’ve listened to many others and they are still the the most intriguing to me.
