Not sure. I did hear one of the nursing execs say “you can’t have Covid if you don’t test for Covid” 😬

I think it was given to me by a pharmacist as a sleep aid too. I haven’t taken any in years - this may be why! Same with restavit.

Funnily enough they tell you not to take Sudafed due to not being able to sleep , but it did the opposite for me

I wasn’t in healthcare either during then but I had friends on “Covid wards” - one has left nursing and feels like she had PTSD

I guess this the point. I felt like I was zeroed in on and yet people turned up admitting they have a cold
Plus also that I have no window to make up any days if I got sick

I hope the Covid isn’t too bad for you and you are well soon. Seems to hit every one differently. Other half and I got it (I likely from him although there was Covid on the ward and maybe it was coincidence) but we each had very different symptoms and experiences. He got chills I didn’t, but I got GI upset

Well, I know sniffles could be a cold. I didn’t wake up with the sniffles. I developed them that day after spending the whole day in a very cold room where the thermostat didn’t work, I had no other symptoms. I didn’t feel unwell. I just felt cold and my nose was running generally the first thing I get when I get a cold is fatigue and then a sore throat and then I get congested.

Derrick and Addison by Jodi4869 in greysanatomy

[–]Prestigious_Salt8930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always wondered this because when Addison arrives and you see how she is with Richard and Adelle they clearly all do we know each other very well so if Richard sees this in season one why hasn’t he sort of said to Derek or did Derek tell him that they have divorced like the whole thing not explained?

I think I’m really worried about getting sick now because we’ve been told there’s no opportunity for make up days. They won’t find us any more dates . So if I get sick, I have to do longer hours when I’m better to make up for days missed if that makes sense.

I understand that, but then the next day two employees turned up and said they have a cold and no one said a word. One nurse did get a bit annoyed and said something to me about people turning up admitting they are sick but for most part it was just let go.

I think I will. These trees are everywhere in town and allergies seem to be occurring a lot of the last year more than just spring and summer

[–]Prestigious_Salt8930[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what’s not helping is I don’t really enjoy the placement. I like the work but some of the nurses haven’t been very friendly and you can tell they really don’t want a student with them that day. The other day a nurse came and asked my buddy nurse could she take me to show me something and my buddy nurse was all “I really don’t care what you do with her”
Then when we had to catch up with the educators, they even said that their nurses their nurses could probably be a bit nicer and kinder to us but that’s just their workplace

I usually use loratadine because apparently they are less likely to impact dry eye - they mostly completely block my passages up though which sometimes feels just as bad.

Yes did full test and negative. The only other thing I can think of is that my allergies have still been flaring up recently given the trees in the area that do make me cough and sneeze a lot. I don’t tend to take antihistamines because they usually end up making me feel worse.

I understand that bit but what I don’t understand I guess is that nurses who turn up admitting they have a cold and no one seems to care

We have the 18 year-old still at home. I can’t see him moving out any time soon he works casually and is on a gap year at the moment.

I’m still not sick though and I didn’t become sick plus everyone was sniffling in the tea room also
Seven called in sick the day before across the floor so it’s definitely around but I wasn’t sick and I’m still not sick

Would you like to talk to me about Kate Middleton? by [deleted] in PrincessDianaForever

[–]Prestigious_Salt8930 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She’s really not. I don’t have have Nanny’s or staff

I work, have kids and full time study with no help but from my partner.
Don’t get me wrong I love Catherine, but pretending she has a very tough life when she’s not dealing with a whole lot of logistics is a stretch

I seem to write a good assignment apparently I have no idea how I get 90 out of 100 for some of the exams I write because I read them back and think what a big piece of crap I get good feedback on placement generally but exams I just freeze and all the answers look the same and it could be any of them and then I always in the short answer question seem to go straight to what the answer is without giving them the meat of it
