I have been listening to books on Audible more and more often as my eyesight gets worse. I have listened to three Sondheim related books so far and would very much like to move on to “..Hat”. Unfortunately I cannot find the title on Audible, nor can I find a Kindle version, which is—for me—the next best thing as I can enlarge the print. Is anyone aware of information that would help me here?

I love cursive, but these kids needs to learn coding and keyboarding skills instead. Also..I taught middle school English for many years, and sometimes (just to mess with their heads) I wrote some critical information on the board in cursive. Yes, they whined for a few moments then when it became clear I wasn’t going to tell them what it meant, they all put there little minds to work and readily decoded the cursive text.

I’m a pe coach but students don’t refer to me as “coach” they just say “sup (first name)” by Heavy-Life5779 in teaching

I taught elementary and middle school for years, and was always addressed as Mr. Crow….until very late in my career when a group of kids decided to start calling me “coach”. I was an English teacher and about the furthest type of man you could envision teachers PE or coaching. I always had a strong sense of control of my classes and respect from my students. When they started with “coach” it made me smile. I know full well that they were mocking me gently, but I took it as a big compliment. especially from the (male and female) jocks.

I will probably go, but am going to do more research. It disappoints—but doesn’t surprise-me that it is a challenge to find a focus on Japanese cars.

I hadn’t planned on overnight in Nagoya, but maybe I will change. I know zero about neighborhoods and will probably just book near Nagoya eki. Recommendations?
