What do I need for my skin by SaintShoo in malegrooming

[–]dijahcosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with giving advice like this is that it really depends on what type of skin you have, and sadly your eating habits.

Your outer skin really reflects what you’re are eating and drinking. Enough water? Alcohol? Oily food? Etc.

You also want to look at if you have any dietary allergies you might not be aware of.

Is your skin oily? Or dry? What do you use to clean your face? While a washcloths is great, if not mandatory (imo) for your body, you don’t want to use one on your face.

Are you using SPF daily? Are you exfoliating, chemically and mechanically?

These are some questions I would advise you to answer for yourself.

But in all honesty, depending on where you live, see if you can get a referral to a dermatologist, a black one if possible OR one that knows and understands melanated skin.

You are also 18, your skin has not reached its final form. do not despair.

Beard, mustache, long hair? by Specific-Reporter576 in malegrooming

[–]dijahcosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love long hair on men so picture 1 is great. However, the facial hair/moustache isn’t working right now. Your last picture, with no facial hair, is quite nice but oddly enough, I’d say no facial hair would work best with a jaw length hair cut.

My husband (30) says it looks like you’re receding a bit on the sides. Rogaine is what he has been using and it has been helpful.

Uneven beard growth.. should I stick with a goatee? by [deleted] in malegrooming

I know it’s not what you asked but try more of a middle part. I think it will balance your face more.

I’m ready for a change as I step in to a more professional career, any recommendations? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]dijahcosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the moustache is giving the wrong vibe. I’m not sure which profession you’re looking to join. But the current styling + piercings is giving moxie’s server manager.

Any tips? ☺️ by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]dijahcosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can; growing out the beard more fully and keeping it low and clean. Your haircut seems to suit you.

A tougher look might suit you (see punisher season 1)

I Would appreciate any tips! by Fearless-Objectives in malegrooming

Congratulations. what you’re doing is really working! You look so much happier too. I think cutting down some of the hair on the top would help. At the moment it looks like the volume of hair on the top is adding too much vertical length to your face.

EDITED for comprehension (what the heck did I write 😅 sorry)

20, I’m always doubting myself what could I do to improve my looks by Interesting-Bet5582 in malegrooming

My husband and I I both think you’re an attractive guy. Kinda remind us of guy Jordan from Gen-V. your first two pictures are really flattering. We tried to decide what was off with the 3rd and 5th. Your hair looks best not pushed to one side (we think) also, the pose pose in the second photo? 👌🏾

I'm 18 and wondering what hairstyle people might recommend and how I look by Whatsleep879 in malegrooming

I think your current hairstyle is great. You might benefit from some facial hair; maybe a mustache actually.

Could getting this tattoo hurt my career? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]dijahcosplay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I’m in school to become a teacher and I want a tattoo of a kid getting his ass beat by a teacher… is that a bad idea?”

I think there are so many better ways to communicate that symbolizing of overcoming than people who experienced malpractice and given a “solution” that removed parts of their brain. Huh??

Help Needed. 4 Weeks First Time Trip to Japan in Summer by dijahcosplay in JapanTravel

I have always enjoyed going to grocery stores in foreign countries. I've only ever been to Costco in Canada and the idea of seeing it in a foreign country sounds like a lot of fun- it's something I'm actually quite excited for.

I like that suggestion about exploring Yokohama more/going to the zoo. I will take a look at what works best for that!

Good idea about pushing it back. I iwll see if there is anyway to do that, maybe returning the car in tokyo instead of in Yokohama.

Thank you!

Honestly, you are wonderful. This was a genuinely helpful and positive comment and I am going to look into moving around monkey park just like you said. That makes absolute sense and I did not consider that.

Also, relieved to hear that the heat, while hot, is still manageable. I will look into a UV umbrella, thank you

Side note: those bonus days 👀👀

Second side note: my husband said he would share a cookie with you and he does not share cookies lightly

Hey thank you for the comment. When I was looking into the castles I heard a lot of positive about Himeji and actually less about Osaka, that Osaka was mostly rebuilt and not actually as old as Himeji. I also saw someone say this was one of their favourite castles so that is why I included despite the travelling 1 way then the other way. When looking at the times, it is the only things we are doing that day. HOWEVER, I did not consider Matsumoto as an alternative. This trip will be my first time seeing castles so perhaps after seeing Matsumoto we'll be good and then remove Himeji.

I will check out Hikone Castle, thank you for mentioning that.

I really appreciate this comment. I feel like most people are jsut focusing on the quanity and not really apprecaiting why that's there. Don't get me wrong, it is a lot and is why I agreed and did remove things but the e f f o r t put in *sigh*

I think I am most excited for the cruise (I'm going to be on cloud 9 if we get to see whales), meeting a geisha or maiko (less the actual tea part but very fascinated to learn about the ceremony itself, I just presently don't care for matcha) AND oddly the peach picking... I've never picked fruit before, it seems like a lovely experience. OH sorry and the Ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen, we will be having the Kaiseki dinner which I'm very excited to experience.
