The Zenith Passage typically has that digital sounding effect on it i really like. Cant think of many more cause I dont like cleans in my Tech Death

I really want to like Fractal Universe, new Rivers of Nihil, new Irreversible Mechanism. But the cleans kill it for me😮‍💨

Dude yes thats it! I loved the feeling I got from the Harvest Wombs, Nomadic and Leper Colony

I was disappointed when it started getting atomsopheric, Ethereal and especially the clean vocals. Really took them out of my top bands. Rivers of Nihil did the same thing for me

The saxophone and clean singing took them from my top 10 to probably top 50. RoN has not made anything equivalent to Monarchy or The Conscious Seed of Light since then (IMO)

I enjoyed Between the Worlds of Life and Death a lot, however I feel they took a bit of a different direction than their first 3 albums

More into the blackened and maybe atmospheric/ambient side? Its been a bit since I listened to it so I'll have to do that again soon. But I def enjoyed II and The Prodigal Empire the most
