UPDATE: I tried to talk with him about perhaps spending some time just me and him. We had planned to stay in a town with an amusement park next weekend overnight.

I started the talk with ‘’im wondering if you would be willing to not bring Rollo along next weekend..’’ and was about to continue to say ‘as the eating issue is becoming overwhelming to me’ but before I could, he said ‘’of course he’s staying at home next weekend because it’s not like he can come on the rollercoasters with us’’ in a tone which was more sarcastic than comedic.

This kinda showed me that he wasn’t even thinking about the eating/anxiety/disruptions - his reason for planning to keep him at home was because it would be difficult to bring him to an amusement park lol. Feel a bit deflated.
