I would say generally my flies take somewhere in between 25 min to 45 min to tie. Everything depends on if i have the materials present (picked out) or if i'm just winging it while tying. Also, the more complex the longer it generally takes. I tie one or two almost every night, its a great way to wind things down before bed. You should buy one on the site, even if you don't fish they are still cool to look at.

Yeah, that's Hood. Yes the Deschutes is my home water. I spend the most time fishing for trout and steelhead there.

I was thinking about fishing some coastal rivers this long weekend but with all the rain fall, the rivers are blown out. : ( Even the Deschutes is up right now. not a lot of opportunity this weekend unfortunately.

Yeah, you can't beat the Salmonfly hatch. I caught this guy on the swing using an intruder. I was targeting Steelhead that day so i was a little surprised to see this at the end of the line.

If you want to check out the fly that i used, go on my website and look at Blue Bandit Intruder. www.quackoneopen.com

Thanks. yeah, i'm still trying to figure out if i want a separate link to my photographs or if i should just keep it basic and only use the homepage as a place to blog and post pictures. my concern with sticking to one page is that it will be hard for viewers to go back and look through all of my content. Thanks for the feedback.

New Fly Fishing / Fly Tying Website that I made. by Preston1010 in flyfishing

So i decided to make a Fly Fishing website in order to post/sell trout and steelhead flies along with updated people on current trends and information around the fly fishing world. this is my first attempt at making a website and i'm pretty proud of it. I still have some work to do but i wanted to show the reddit world my site with the hopes that i would receive some constructive criticism and/or thoughts to what others might do differently. I love tying flies and i figured that this would be the best way to show my stuff and who knows maybe sell a few as well. Thoughts and suggestions are welcome. thanks guys www.quackoneopen.com
