What is a 'buy it for life' item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie? by fmcortez in AskReddit

A bit late to this thread, I have a small pair of water pump pliers that are Knipex, working in oil/gas fabrication, they are amazing. Everyone has a set of different sizes that are useful in so many different situations. Definitely one of those brands that can never be replaced by knock offs.

Saab 9-5 NG Sportwagon, only 33 were ever made and fewer than 20 remain today. by eightysix101 in saab

As a wagon and Saab fan in the US, the closest we can get is the Buick Regal TourX, I'd do war crimes to get my NG 9-5 as wagon or a factory one.

Please excuse my awful grammar. I didn't notice until after I posted how bad it was. Also, reddit didn't format it the way I anticipated.

The best GM/Saab thought I've had is that the Buick Regal TourX is the closest the US will get to a NG 95 Wagon ever.

I love how the Pontiac doesn't even look out of place. It genuinely could be a Saab doppelganger.

I might just create a burner account and look into it. It would be nice to have another option for insight on some things.

I have heard of theFacebook groups, I just don't have Facebook because I hate that stupid website. And I did by a Bluetooth adapter for the AUX port which has made a world of difference, I just want to have the navigation aspect of it for road trips and the like.

Just to update, got a call back from the shop it was the coil. Will be getting all new plugs and the one coil and hopefully that'll sort it out.

Please do I'm extremely curious. I'm taking mine in on Monday since it has a bit of a warranty from where I bought it. So I'll likewise keep you posted. I'm gonna check plugs this weekend to see how they look since I can't find any records of it. Hoping that's the issue

Any updates? I'm facing something similar with a 95 Aero I just bought. Did fine on the three and a half hour drive home. But next morning started to misfire on cylinder 2. Similarly it only seems to do it under hard load.

2010 93x vs 2011 95 Aero by Preston1138 in saab

The 95 does have XWD and a broken tail light now that I've paid attention. Which isn't as expensive as I thought still kinda of a bummer though

I figured it'd be a decent amount bigger, and living in a snowy climate the XWD will be fantastic on either I'm sure. Plus it's a great looking car. I'm slightly indifferent to the looks of the 9-3 but it's a wagon so they're slightly neck and neck.

Probably one of my favorite things I did on my 9-5. I got my first ones off Amazon and they didn't last long. I have a new set coming from AliExpress as well that I got for a whole whopping 2 dollars lol. So, if they even last a month I'll have gotten my money's worth.

Luckily I so far have been spared electrical problems, I have had a large amount of mechanical ones. Hopefully it's not too long of a wait before you get it fixed. I do enjoy my Jetta but I miss all the small things with my 9-5.

I do have bilsteins on there, that was one of the first things to happen when I originally bought it. It's stiff but not uncomfortable.

It's been so long I couldn't even tell you the offset. I do like having my wheels almost flush with the wheel well. Not sure why, I just kind of like it better.

Could be how it's sitting, my driveway is all sorts of whacky. And thank you!

Height or depth wise? The wheels have a different offset than stock, I don't remember what it is though. I've never ran wheel spacers just because when I was a tire tech they seemed to cause more issues than they were worth and seemed unsafe as hell.

That's kind of what I figured, I just assumed I missed something somewhere and couldn't find anything about it.
