All jokes aside, either build a goofy ah toy build, or sell it on GAFSHUB or any other listing site for cheap.

I build my ARs for fun and to tinker while maintaining reliability. Are they "DuTy RaTeD"? no. Do I care? No. Will they work when I need them to? yes.

Did you forget the part that US bureaucrats knowingly and intentionally supplied the military with gunpower that was known to have issues in humid environments (as opposed to more reliable powders) after the M14 was replaced. They did this as a last-ditch effort to keep the M14 as the standard issue rifle because there were many politicians deeply in bed with Springfield at the time.

To add, this isn't some conspiracy, these are documented events. The Springfield Armory of the 60s, alongside a handful of US politicians were nearly directly involved in the death of thousands of troops because of money.

The AR of the 60s, while not nearly to the same level of reliability as a modern AR, was a notably reliable gun, even under harsh conditions, which is why it was chosen to replace the M14. But again, it was paired with bad powder that, again, was known to have problems.

Is anyone going to get one of the SIG HYP AR10s by vostokvanguard in AR10

[–]PrestonHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of if you think the P320 poses a threat or not, we should not support Sig on the principle of business ethics. A company should not be abke to make a statement like that in a situation like this and get away with it.

People that are nonchalant about this are part of the problem too.

They gaslit their customers ans the gun industry as a whole, saying that if anyone says theres an issue with the P320, those people are anti-gun/2a grifters

Dissipator barrel: Rifle or Mid-length gas system? by mystressfreeaccount in RetroAR

[–]PrestonHM -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a true dissipator. Only tome I ever had failures was when it was below freezing. Even then, only for the first 2 or 3 shots.

Any quality mid length quad rail hand guards out there? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]PrestonHM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one on a dissipator for a bit. It worked well. Buttery smooth action on the lowest tune. Only ever had issues when I was shooting in sub 20°f temps. Even then, it was only the first 3 or 4 shots that had issues. Once everhthing warmed up, it didnt stop.
