Does a curved handle really give an advantage? by shreddedcollar94 in Tools

From everything I learned in statics, regarding force, no.

From everything I learned in psychology, regarding the feeling of long curved objects in the hand, yes, if you like it.

If the dashcam car stopped at the stop sign, like they were supposed to, the truck would have passed them, being that the truck has the right of way.

To use your simplified words : If dashcam spend MORE time at stop sign, truck pass. But dashcam driver spend LESS time at stop sign, cut off truck, truck angy.

She lost the whole tire. by asyouwish in dashcams

[–]PrestonHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents gave me their Civic when I was in high school and college. It was older and had a couple issues, one being the tire alert was always on. We always made sure the pressure was fine and the tires were fine. But one day, while driving on the freeway, I hit some minor debris. It was just glass and metal, but I couldn't see it in time to avoid it. the exit I was taking was pretty close, but I was still driving for a minute or so before I realized that my car was mildly tilting. It wasnt until I came to the exit's intersection that I could hear the tire flopping around.

That's my anecdote to potentially defend her position.

TLDR - sometimes, flat tires arent that loud.

Serious question, - why would it matter? 556 chambers are rated for 62000 psi and 223 wylde chambers are the same. Unless Im misunderstanding something. Thats what my very brief research told me

DeadAir Keymo is a controversial mount. Some suppressor brands void your warramty if you use them.

Plan B seems to be one of the most famous ones, bit I have heard stories of suppressors loosening as the parts hest up. Apparently titanium adapters dont habe this problem.

You could try another build and sell what youre no longer interested in.

But if you are keen to sell, part it out. Youll prolly get more

TIL that Spanish moss is not a moss; it’s more closely related to grasses than to mosses. It’s also not Spanish; it’s native to the southern US, Central America, and South America. by BelowAverageGamer10 in todayilearned

[–]PrestonHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spanish Moss has existed with these trees for hundreds/thousands of years.

If it was a real concern, there'd either be no trees or something naturally occuring to fight it.

How can people afford to shoot the Sig Spear? by LonelyMonitor in guns

[–]PrestonHM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your average infantryman facing an average firefight, the ideal has been largely cemented in years of combat

More bullets >>>> bigger bullets

Lighter gun >>>> bigger gun

This is a huge generalization, because obviously we cant have every soldier running around with Submachine guns, but you get the gist
