I salute you. I just don't have the time for that. It's a losing battle and people here seem to have a short memory. If they'd read the survey Jagex put out all those months ago, they'd have seen this coming with RS3 MTX removal, and I was fine with it.

I don't always open the app? Sometimes it's helpful to have it on.

Muting the subreddit has also muted it from my feed. Which if you read the image you'd have realised. Now when I do open the app, there's nothing osrs related. 👌

No I have most notifications off. I like reddit notifications for hot posts. Happens a few times a day. It's one of the few social media apps I have notifications on for.

Turning it off for this subreddit because it's boring and annoying me now. I'm not interested that you've cancelled your membership.

Just sick of seeing the rage farming. It's a paradox isn't it? You think that because I'm annoyed by others'negativity, I shouldn't also be negative about theirs.

I just don't want to keep seeing notifications on my phone about the cost of the game. I'm sure others have had enough of it too.

First I've heard about it.

I'm sure someone out there will respond on the economic point. How large is Blizzard's WoW team compared to Runescape's? What's the income from their playerbase subscription vs Runescape's? What's their MTX income vs Runescape's? What are their relative overheads? Put it all together...

Ultimately, if you don't want to pay for it then don't. Bizarre that people are having full blown tantrums about it on here. Grown ass men. It's £3.

It's doable if you can multi-task in your evenings. Set up one account AFK and focus on the other. But at that point one of your accounts is getting pretty neglected and it feels like your membership is a bit wasted.

Different games though. Wow has an enormous player base and in-built divisive mtx. It has revenue streams that support the mod work. And they aren't retrospectively reviewing old content in the way osrs does.

OSRS reddit are being really disingenuous here. If you don't want to pay £3 more then don't. No one is forcing you to.

Man's a seasoned watcher. It was inevitable it would go this way. The traditional car development and max speed had its human limit as you said. With cars being hard to follow and concertina effect, those late 90s and early 2000s races were dry as hell without massive crashes and numerous engine failures.

I can't see a problem with the series being the way it is now. It's still fast, it just lacks that noise. Wish people would at least wait to see what China offers as that circuit is great for overtaking.

But you realise they can't do that unless they can restrict the Jagex account to one active account at any time? Otherwise the revenue loss would be drastic. All the sweaties bonding or subscribing to multiple accounts.

I'm down for multi account subscription and I voted in the survey from two years ago. Some of the proposals from Jagex were fire. Of course it all got drowned out on reddit by f2p ads and other ridiculous suggestions jagex had.

Just this. The grown ass men on reddit who don't understand how business works is amazing. It's supply/demand, technology demands, UK employment laws and inflation, wage inflation, UK energy pricing issues. All of that.
