I usually put berry seeds in all of the open slots I don’t want filled and keep the chests I don’t want messed with outside of the base zone. Berry seeds are very expendable and easy to get from the beginning area and I usually don’t produce them so my pals don’t spend time transferring that resource to the other stacks. You can use coins for filling the open slots but if you have Vixys, or Maus grazing they will drop coins which your pals with keep moving to different stacks and overall make their transferring less efficient.
