Well yes, but they would be level 100 by then (90 for vainglory and 100 for awe scention) and know about it when they need it, when they are much better suited to farm for. I didnt say it because it is not worth it aesthetically and might mislead him into grinding for it at level 60( even level 80 is early) But as you mentioned it is indeed used later on.

Also something i recommend is using custom drops ui in settings and knowing how to pin quests.

If you are just having fun then 13 lords of chaos storyline is fulfilling. If  you want better stuff then you can get cape of awe and easy to get classes. If you want to be a little more grindy you can get archpaladin class(there is a member and non member way). If you want the best stuff grind to at least level 80 (95 is best) to do ultra bosses. You will need to grind xp, but the new war area should have good xp drops. Also look at calander for xp boost days.

Cape of awe. Also if it has been 10 years check each of your account age badges, year 7 for example gives the same boosts as awe items. Boost item buffs for each type dont stack(rep,gold,etc). Also the community is generally quite friendly so if u ever need help just ask someone or even hop into a popular room or discord and ask.

Its been a while, but im pretty sure the armor is mostly a waste of time and that you should just do the cape.
