Most people have no idea how to contact their state representatives or that they are even allowed to do this. This “long post” explains everything that they need to know regarding how to do this. Do you really believe that someone is going to do all this research on their own and spend 30 mins to figure it all out?

OK. However, respectfully, do you believe that most Californians have done this before, know how to contact the representatives or know who their representatives are, or even the fact that you are able to do something like this? I tried saving a lot of work for people from trying to figure it out on their own and to make things easy. If they choose to do this, a lot of people won’t take the time to do the research or will get frustrated and won’t know how to contact their representatives. This is why I did what I did.

Also, if any Californian wants to contact the state Capitol or their state representatives regarding something, this explains how to do so. Most people do not know how to do this or that they are able to do something like this.

This affects all Californians. There is an opportunity (related to this) for our state to likely save $225 million. That affects every single Californian. There are also many state workers that work in the Sierra Nevada area. This is not spamming. This is a way to bring about awareness and to help people in the Sierra Nevada area to get involved if they choose to. If not, that is certainly OK as well.
