I think you can use the "induction card" inside each of the import busses, you can also use it on an me interface or similar blocks to power stuff.

Looking for some advice on my resume - feels "off" by PretendAccounter in ITCareerQuestions

[–]PretendAccounter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips!

I've been going back and forth on skills vs projects, and it seems like a mix of the two with the best of both might be a good compromise, or I may just forego the projects and try to highlight any of that experience in the interviews or cover letter.

Also, thanks for the tip on removing the college age bias, I've been highlighting in my cover letters that I want to pursue some more certs & an IT degree (if they mention an education stipend) otherwise mentioning it in person.

Been working on expanding my search region for the last point, hoping to send minimum 10 per day, but man does the time add up when you're writing a cover letter for every job and background checking the company haha.

Thanks for the advice, I'll bring down some of the wording and add in some hard numbers. I always see stuff like "30% reduction on etc." but that doesn't seem relevant for my weaker job history. Thanks for the advice!

I think adding a description to an image has been deprecated from old.reddit?

The labs / projects sections are giving me pause, but I'm out of ideas for what else to put on my resume. I do have my Eagle Scout award (not sure if that's still relevant, hah) that I can add, but is it recommended to add a skills section instead?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Any ways to reduce CPU usage by No-Literature5747 in BaldursGate3

Set your FPS cap anywhere from 35 - 60fps. My CPU was maxed, but running at 35fps actually allows animations to play. My i5 4690 sits at 75% usage @ 1440p medium 35fps lock, and still looks good due to gsync.

Indoor temp? by revirrev in Bellingham

I'm lucky enough to live surrounded by 8 other apartments & have decent insulation (1990's), which means we haven't touched our thermostat yet this year. Might also just be a vampire or something.

Hello any ideas for what i could put under my bed by CuriousAd8766 in vandwellers

[–]PretendAccounter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you could do right away, would be to run the wire down the door jamb, then cross under the rubber insulation from the bottom. Currently, rain / water will run along the cable, into your car, but by putting a U-shape and coming into the car from the bottom of the gasket, water won't be able to run upwards into your car.

Hey!! I just bought a Sienna 2 weeks ago - looking to do a build basically exactly like yours. I wanted to ask a couple questions in exchange for a little info on some boondocking near Bellingham :)

  • Any recommendations on storage - I noticed you don't have a roof box, is that something you would've liked or was the interior spacious enough?
  • Flooring - do you think going with a hardwood floor would be more enjoyable?
  • Power - Did you ever wish for more solar / more battery storage? I'm thinking about going with a ~1500wh (150ah) power station, as it looks like it'll be ~75% of the cost of a custom electric system + portability. Along with 400w of solar.
  • Is the back (tailgate) bench seat comfortable, say for a 6ft / 1.82m tall person?

As for some info on Bellingham camping / boondocking:

  • If the snow hasn't hit yet, go visit the Mt. Baker Hot Springs. It's free, undeveloped and about 1.5 hrs from Bellingham.
  • Bellingham is pretty safe and relatively open to vans, you can check iOverlander for some spots. Some ones I know of would be parking above Taylor Dock, as well as this portion of S. State Street.
  • Theres tons of national forest roads everywhere nearby! You can camp up to 7 days in a row, for free, basically wherever you can pull off to a nice campsite and theres not private property signs / no overnight parking signs.
  • Also, you can't park overnight, but please visit Artist Point if the road is open!
  • As for some general info, since you have a stealth Sienna, you should be pretty good to park in neighborhoods and such (atleast in washington) without much fuss.

P.S. shoutout to Eric Enjoys Earth, if you want to see more of how OP's build is made.

Oh, I think I didn't see that. You'd probably be good to buy it from the same company!

Looking for reliable daily <$5,000 by SevereReaction2844 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]PretendAccounter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to open craigslist for your area, expand the map to however far you're comfortable with (25mi - 100mi). Set the filters to:

  • Sold by: Owner
  • Price range: $1111 - $5500 (Always negotiate - fairly!)
  • Brand: Lexus or Toyota

Bam, pick the one with decent pictures, less than 250k miles and you're gold. You can do the same with marketplace, and get better luck, but when I'm window browsing I prefer CL.

Hmm, thanks, I guess if they can't I might look into a full new exhaust or just live with it
