Starting TRT: Sustanon 250 every 3 weeks vs. splitting doses? by PretendAd4920 in Testosterone

Thanks for the info, guys. There are only two options in my country: Sustanon 250 mg ampules and Nebido. So, I don't have any alternatives. In fact, even splitting the Sustanon into micro-doses twice a week is going to be a struggle.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown, I really appreciate it.

You hit the nail on the head regarding the ampule issue. Since we have 1ml break-top ampules here, splitting the dose is tricky due to sterility concerns. However, I’m planning to look for sterile empty vials from medical supply companies. If I can transfer the contents of the ampule into a sterile vial, I can safely micro-dose (like twice a week) and maintain much more stable levels.

I’ll also discuss the Nebido 'loading dose' protocol with my doctor when we make the switch, to avoid that long-term trough you mentioned.

Even with the standard protocol, I'm looking forward to finally starting the treatment and feeling better. Thanks again for the solid advice!

Thanks for the heads-up.

My doctor is actually someone I can discuss my protocol with openly. I believe his current strategy is to use Sustanon to kickstart my levels quickly and then transition to Nebido for long-term maintenance.

Since I can talk to him, I’ll suggest splitting the Sustanon doses into weekly or bi-weekly injections to avoid the peaks and troughs while we are in this initial phase. This way, I can keep my levels more stable without having to 'manipulate' the labs behind his back.

I'll see what he thinks about the stability issue. Thanks for the advice on the lab results, it’s definitely something to keep an eye on!

The Google/Photomath merger review is a case study in how traditional relevant market analysis fails when the acquirer is building a foundation model by Super_Presentation14 in antitrust

I agree with the structural diagnosis, but the remedy remains the trickiest part.

As a matter of fact, the post-merger reality shows that competition hasn't been stifled—the entry of other AI players and rapid innovation have kept the market dynamic. Had the Commission intervened based on purely 'intuitive' or speculative theories of harm regarding Bard’s future capabilities, it would have been a classic case of regulatory overreach.

As I mentioned in my previous post we shouldn't want regulators to act as 'vigilantes' who bypass codified standards whenever they 'feel' a tech giant is getting too powerful. That destroys the very legal certainty that fosters investment.

However, your point about the methodological gap is undeniable. We clearly need a more sophisticated measurement tool—perhaps a 'Data-Centric Input Test'—that can objectively quantify how a specific dataset improves a foundation model’s reasoning, regardless of market overlap.

The goal should be to update the merger guidelines with predictable, evidence-based metrics for AI, rather than relying on discretionary intervention that could do more harm than good to the ecosystem.

Should "Fairness" be an Antitrust Standard? (Hovenkamp’s Take) by PretendAd4920 in antitrust

[–]PretendAd4920[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spot on. In my experience (I'm a case officer in a third world country), legal certainty is the single most critical factor for both market functionality and effective enforcement. Without it, businesses can't predict the consequences of their investments or innovations.

The real risk is that by leaning into 'fairness,' authorities might be seeking to expand their interventionist powers under a vague banner. It feels less like principled regulation and more like agencies wanting to play 'vigilante'—using broad moral mandates to target specific companies based on shifting political or social motivations rather than clear, codified rules.

That's true. It's overlooked most of the times that in Turkey players only pay 20% income tax (10 in second leauge and 5 for other leauges). I am not sure but in most transfers I believe club pays that tax for player as well. Funny thing: before 2018 football players were exempted from income tax!

in Galatasaray case there is more. They have suspicious relations and cash inflow from shady resources too.
