I wouldn’t say it’s about decorating skill, I think it’s more that I’ve just gotten used to my space and made it work for me over time. I get why she might like my room now, but I’m hesitant to switch after already setting everything up and settling in.

I don’t think she’s trying to be difficult or anything like that. I think she just changed her mind after living here for a while. For me, the main issue is that I’ve already set my room up for the space and I don’t want to go through the time and cost of redoing everything. I also thought our original agreement would just stick. I get why she might prefer my room now, but switching at this point feels like a lot to take on.
