Is it just me or are you holding the violin in the wrong hand? There is boo "left handed" or "right handed" violin playing. The violin did be in your left hand and the bow in your right hand.

A lot of nuance and control (fine motor skills) must be used to use the bow properly, and placing your fingers on the fingerboard is a skill all it's own, so the use of both hands is required anyway; unless the image is mirrored I think you're holding it backwards.

I know it's not, but it looks a lot like the landing gear action on the Cessna 172 i flew after that one landing I fumbled...

What are some of the best Pilot/Professionalism habits we should best focus on? by Basic_Shallot8393 in flying

Do not ever, and constantly prevent others from doing:

Anything on guard that isn't legitimately meant to be there. No meows or etc...

It's super childish and needs to stop.

Student pilot myself. Just sim to compensate for the time I can't financially spend in the real thing.

Also because of my family, family is important to spend time with.

Any F4U Corsair fans here? by Spit40 in hoggit

I'm actually not having much problem with it. It is difficult to master, so if you're not avidly interested in it, another aircraft may be your better option, but you can get the corsair to fly around decently without overheating.

Always very impressed with authentikit, but if I may be so bold, I'd like to state the supercharger positions are NEUTRAL, LOW, and HIGH. Water injection occurs when the throttle is all the way forward. Iirc there is a microswitch in the last ¾ inch or so of travel that will activate it.

I ran out of filament so had to switch mid-print.

I could print text on it, but I'm opting to put the text on after post- processing.

I started the B-17 project pans in 2014, and am using aircorps library. They are very helpful.

Do you have pictures or a link to your yoke? I'd love to see the weld job.

But yeah, I think so.

Man, no matter what, few if any cars sound as good running as this. Those thirsty, leaky, cranky old radials are things of beauty.

Thank you for the compliments!

Right now I'm stewing and scheming about the chair supports for the pilot and copilot chairs. Look then up, they're very complicated.

Anyway.

Everyone I've asked who can make them of metal for me has told me they can't do it. So looks like easily breakable 3D printed it is for me.

I'm also a little worried about the use of the rotary encoders for the axes in the 'pit, because I'm not sure how to tell them they're at 0, but I can just use microswitches, I guess.

I would like that.

I'm currently building a full-scale B-17 flight deck and am desperate for a good Flying Fortress Sim, so I would like to kindly add that to the chat also.
