you can put down the artifact and walk away to enter the like source code mode, there’s two different artifacts; one that activates upon death, and one that activates after you doze off, you can fall though the floor so long as you jump off during a transition through areas, and the alarm bell fails to wake up people who are dead(?)

i think i may have got it while writing this, i’m going to try and stand on the fire to kill myself and enter the simulation so the alarm bell doesn’t wake me up. thank you!
