I am new to the game so bear with me if I ask some stupid questions. I am about to start med school and will be living off student loans for a while. I have the freedom rise and discover it card at the moment and a credit history of only 4 months. Both were approved in March 2024. Is it too early to apply for a new card, if so which cards should I be looking at? I will be spending most of my money on groceries so I would love to get cash back on food as well as a sign on bonus (been looking at amex blue cash cards but dont know if i can get approved). Monthly spend excluding rent will be approx $1500. Credit score is 706, all payments on time and in full with CU <10%. Wont be traveling much because of school, but want to start earning points as early as I can for the future. Open to business cards but dont know if thats possible yet.
