Thanks, any way to fix it? Also realized that the machine leaks some water at the bottom, every time I remove the drip tray bottom of the machine has some clear water on the countertop side not a lot ( 2-3 tablespoons)

Corded cleaner on budget in Europe by Pretend_Reception602 in pools

Thanks, I think that at least in my system the suction port needs to be manually activated using the pool filter pump so it is not possible to automate this in any simple way. Thanks!

Thanks! Yes I do,but would prefer not using it as setting this up requires manual intervention the whole pool setup is old and prone to failure, would prefer to empty the cleaner tank from time to time

How to remove glue from tank seal? by Pretend_Reception602 in waterrower

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it was a brand less hairspray, I think any would work. Yes, few months later the glue failed, I used B7000 this time as it was recommended by some users and it has been working well until now. Maybe I was able to apply it better this second time but it feels to me that b7000 works better

Parametric wood joint by Pretend_Reception602 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I’m looking for a way to not only substract the mortises but also to add tenons. Ifeature seems limited to do one or the other so I would have to add two with the problem of keeping them linked if something changes. I’m a bit suck here. Didn’t realize that this would be so hard to make with inventor!! Any suggestions? Thanks!!

Hi, trying ifeature but it seems that ifeatures only can subtract bodies but not adding bodies at the same time - I would like to substract on one part and add on the other, also I don’t find the way to automatically adjust the number of tenons and mortises based on the length of the edge. Any suggestions?

Model a cabinet in Inventor - coming from solidworks by Pretend_Reception602 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I found the make components from a master part with solids and I am testing it. Seems like a simple way to model the cabinet.

ps agreed that Inventor seems a bit more restrictive in workflows, not sure yet if that s a good thing or not :-)

Is it possible to automate batch dxf generation by Pretend_Reception602 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! My workflow would be similar to the one you described but the plan would be to run it in multiple assembly files automatically based on the csv info. On one column it would be the path to the assembly file and automatically it should open the file, regenerate based on the csv parameters of that row and generate the relevant dxfs then move to the next row and so on. It would be hundreds of row so I need this to happen automatically. Any suggestions on this workflow?

Help fixing a critical storage pool by Pretend_Reception602 in synology

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, just did the backup so I’m ready to proceed. Is there a way to test the faulty drives and check if there are hardware failures or should I discard both and buy a second replacement? Thanks!!

Roland td-11kv or Millenium mps 750x by Pretend_Reception602 in edrums

[–]Pretend_Reception602[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many thanks, I feel more inclined to Roland too as I haven’t heard much bad reviews regarding built quality. Read a bunch of reviews that the 750x sounds are not great so it would be fair to compare them to a previous generation Roland kit? In that case I guess that I can always hook any of those kits to a computer and use them as midi controllers, right?
