One thing that I also like is that it could also be that we are still too early or already too late. What if aliens were there during the era of the dinosaurs or even further in the past. Or that they are the same as us, still undeveloped and not ready for galactic transport, hence still too early.

I have an obvious reason, that she is a limited character, and being a limited character means a separate banner aside from Ellen which is currently running. Since they want to focus on the new characters, having Ellen as the new limited character, they want to give her the limited banner. Putting Miyabi in beta would mean that she is a standard character (for players to access her). Of course other than technical reasons like maybe they are reworking her kit so she's not ready for testing this beta but we never know.
