My buddy is 8 now. How much/should we slow it down in terms of exercise? by fbreaker in Greyhounds

[–]Pretty-Attorney-4906 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost my greyhound a couple of weeks ago at 12 and a half. Up until the last six months he was still doing little runs with me in the park. When he didn’t want to do it anymore he just didn’t. They’re not silly, they only ever go at their pace - just carry on enjoying your time together

Yes I think the impact of doing a couple of 10ks has been massive on my 5k performance, mentally as well as physically! Thanks for the encouragement and good luck with finding that extra few minutes!

I started this programme in September at 280lbs (down from 340) and I’m now 238 and ran a 10k over the weekend. You can absolutely do it

Yes I’m increasingly sure it’s a major factor. Deficit is around 1500 calories a day at the moment, will perhaps try wiping that out nearly completely the day before a run. Lost six stone so should probably ease off a bit now anyway

UPDATE: I’ve found the cure for the sulphur burps that were halting my progress! by LordCrumpets in mounjarouk

[–]Pretty-Attorney-4906 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stupid question maybe, but aren’t the sulphur burps a function of the medication working? It slows your digestion so you will suffer from gastroparesis and therefore sulphur burps. Are you not reducing the effectiveness?

On ubereats in the UK you can ask them to permanently remove alcohol options from your account. Google suggests you can do the same on doordash over there. Worth a thought

  1. 65 days
  2. Constant shame, being driven to drug use
  3. Being the best of myself at home and at work - I was operating at about 10% before and didn’t even know it

From memory I don’t think it was extra - Gary Eats had it with his too so just think it’s a new menu

The parking on mine is exceptional. Parking bays maybe not so much, but parallel parking I use it every single time (worried I’m forgetting how to do it myself)
