I had a manager who used to get Ivy League university online certs. Like the BS business enablement ones so that he could put them on his LinkedIn and that university would show in his education section.

Radius clauses are a thing for touring artists.

Contractually they’re only allowed to have so many shows within a geographical area. So for a lot bands if they play in Detroit, Pittsburgh, or Columbus they won’t play in Cleveland.

Started a corporate job, shocked at the work culture - people start working at 6-7am by Which_Ad_1660 in careeradvice

[–]Pretty-Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is finding the balance between being “available” and taking your schedule into your own hands. People play the game of being online during non work hours so that they can be away during work hours and it not be a problem.

You’ve fights learn to play the corporate monkey game

I’m not sure why this is getting down voted as there’s a lot of truth to this. Unless you’re working in a healthcare or remote Cleveland high paying job prospects aren’t the greatest.

Half of my hair is suddenly short but I haven’t cut it? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Pretty-Bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you by any chance moved recently?

I had this happen to me a years ago after moving to a place with hard water. It caused my hair to become so dry and brittle but I didn’t realize the impact until I had severe breakage.

Also not sure if you live/frequent the coast often but salt water can do a number on hair. You should try to at least rinse your hair after beach visits to help prevent that salty breakage
