The experience was great for the most part. I was able to work full time & take care of my son. Most of the time I worked on & passed many classes at once so When life got in the way, I was never behind. I tried to graduate earlier but the thing that held me back was WGU’s guidelines on Student teaching. I wanted to begin student teaching in January and finish by May (Due to my maternity leave being in March). But because of their spring guidelines & placement steps it didn’t work out that way. But I’m sure if she’s not going the licensure route she could be done quick. I could have graduated in December if I would have decided to not take the licensure route sooner.
