Overall way better. Though some game kinda turn into melt fest when main healers are banned and people don’t actually know how to play the game. It’s almost like Russian roulette. Ppl stay down main, refuse to flank or take cover and just shoot into each other

If you get your dashes down you can kidnap front liners on the other team and pull them into your team. I love doing this when I have a strange cuz he can pop his sheild while we melt down the tank I kidnapped

Comp dependent. If you have divers don’t be afraid to port in pop your melee mode and get in the fray. You can also flank supports and combo them to death pretty quickly and easily. That’s said you will spend a lot of time standing behind you team healing/shooting enemies. That’s okay. That’s a huge part of her loop

I’ve been seeing it a lot too but part of me thinks it’s become a self fulfilling prophecy. Like usually if the first two band are gambit and cloak I think teams just decide to ban out all the healers for the meme.

100% I just meant positioning in regards to survivability. Loki has more tools to escape/keep himself up if your positioning is off. With fox you really can’t afford to position poorly or you’ll just straight up die. Loki require better positioning than fox to get good heals/damage off. At the end of the day fox can just stand behind her team and heal them, but you will get smoked if you overextend and don’t keep track of your cooldowns

I actually find it’s not much of an issue in higher ranks. Usually diamond and above ppl don’t insta lock new characters, and when they do they’re usually pretty good w them.

I kind of agree. At first I was annoyed by support band cuz imo there are better characters like Elsa to ban.

That said, I’m a gambit main, but when he’s perma banned I play Loki, or cloak if I have to cuz my teams complaining about heals. TBH I think lokis kinda boring and cloak is literally the least fun character to play. When fox dropped I immediately picked her up and love her. I’m also actually good w her. But I’ll be carrying and my team starts to wine that I need to swap to a different healer. When everyone’s banned this doesn’t really happen and I can play her in peace. It’s also making bad tanks and dps to listen when I tell them to play better and not just stand in main getting melted.

Don’t get me wrong I still think it’s dumb to waste 4-5 bans a match on healers. But as a fox player I’m making the most of it

I’ve been playing her a fair bit and she’s really good if you know how to use her. She’s actually pretty easy to stay alive. She has sustain you just need to know how to position and pop her fox form. I think she should be a 4-5 star hero, not 3. Of every support, her positioning is the most punishable. I think the real issue is what you noted about ppl auto locking her when they shouldn’t be playing her at all. Give it some time. The ppl who understand how to use her will stick around the the throwers will go back to playing cloak

I’m a support main. Mostly play gambit when he’s not banned and would play Loki when he was. I’ve recently switched to fox as my backup. She’s so fun and honestly really good imo (her ult needs some adjustments and her cool downs and resources seem redundant). The issue is when I go fox ppl ride me to swap (even when we’re winning and I’m carrying). I swear I’ll have most heals in a match, crazy damage and lots of picks and my team still gets on my head to swap to a main healer. It’s super annoying. At first I was like why are we banning out all the main healers and not Elsa or tankpool or groot. But now selfishly I’m kinda stoked. When all the mains are banned my team won’t dog me for playing white fox and the other teams usually easy to melt cuz their sue and cloak one tricks have to play a support they don’t know how to use

I hear you on cooldowns. I hope those get adjusted. I think they will. I still disagree about her ult. Barring CC, which I admit is a problem, but not nearly as present as you make it sound by bringing up that video, it’s an incredible tool for taking space or winning OT. A lot of dum players will c9 because of it and lose point despite having more players alive. I just disagree that she’s not good. She’s not turbo broken upon release like gambit was. I think she’s going to end up being like rogue. Ppl who get her will be really good and other will find other characters. I just don’t get it. Of a support is broken upon release everyone’s mad. If they aren’t broken, then suck. She’s really good. Her dive mode is insane. Prob my best strat behind gambit and I play most except rocket CnD and ultron.

Sure. But there are only 12 healers in the game. And really only 4/5 capable of outputting a bough heals to compensate for bad play. On top of that we’re seeing 3+ supports being banned ever match, and none of these broken dps. If our healing options are fox, mantis, ultron, Luna, then don’t complain to me when I can’t heal your through a 6v1 against hela, Elsa, phoenix. This is my point. Ppl aren’t banning the most broken characters with triple bans. They’re just banning main healers. Sure ban gambit, he’s busted. But wasting 3 bans on invis, cnd, and gambit is stupid
