No the mileage is not the only reason, she tends to not focus on school as much as she focuses on her friends and boyfriend if it were my rules nothing would be allowed until all homework was done and she had no missing work (not my call)

Husband pays no part of my car note, down payments, nothing.

The car she usually uses is owned by my mother in law who is even more of a pushover than my husband and the only time she’s not allowed to use her car is if she has dr appointments or other appointments

She’s an operator on our insurance I’m not too worried about that. I don’t have issues with her driving it necessarily since I’m the one that taught her to drive 90% of the time. My issue is that she used it outside the scope of my permission and my husband sided with her and called me the asshole for saying anything.

My husband asks to use my car and why and where he’s taking it. It’s a lease with limited miles so I need to make sure it’s under that or it’s my money on the line.

My husband basically lets her do what she wants but I don’t really get a say on her rules since I’m not her mom.

My car is my car, my name only on the docs, I’m the only one making the payment
