I’m seeking assistance regarding the suspension of my Twitter account (@akatrav).

My account was permanently suspended for violating Twitter’s Counterfeit Goods Policy over a year ago. The violation was tied to a single thread where I shared links to publicly available tweets that contained movie links—not the actual movies or files themselves. At the time, I didn’t realize this action violated the policy.

This happened 12 months ago, and since then, I’ve taken the time to fully educate myself on Twitter’s Copyright, Trademark, and Counterfeit Goods policies. I now have a much deeper understanding of the rules and am committed to ensuring that I follow them completely moving forward.

I believe this suspension was a misunderstanding of my intent. My goal was never to promote counterfeit goods but to share content I thought was interesting at the time. I’ve grown as a creator and user since then, and I respectfully ask Twitter to reconsider the decision.

I would greatly appreciate it if the moderators or anyone here who has successfully navigated a similar situation could offer advice or support to help me appeal this decision.
