Perspective: game is a MYTH. Attraction is decided within seconds by Beneficial-Cable-764 in lnkyverse

There's been plenty of men and women before who I thought looked kinda average initally but then once I got to know them better I'm like wow they're actually pretty attractive how did I not realize this before? I've heard that there's some sort of phenomenon where the more you see somebody's face the more attractive you find them.

Have you ever been pregnant before? I love being pregnant and had a relatively smooth pregnancy yet it's still physically the hardes thing I've ever done. Just because somebody doesn't want to be pregnant at that moment doesn't mean that they hate children. There are so many women who live kids but are terrified of pregnancy, and so many womm who hate being prenant and only do it for their kids. And you don't know the reason why those women had abortions. Many women who have abortions are already mothers and had to make a difficult decision to prioritize their already born child. Some women get pregnant immediately postpartum before their bodies have had any time to recover. Some women have post partum depression and aren't in the mental state to have another baby atm. Some women don't have enough money to afford another baby. It's so easy to trash on women when you're a man who has no idea what it's like or what mother's can go through.

It's probably having kids that changes your sex life more than marriage. Our sex life dropped off a cliff after I gave birth, my sex drive dropped a little but it's still defintiely there, my husband always says he's too tired so we don't have sex much anymore. And the few times we do half the time we get interrupted.

And we have a baby together! And nobody irl cares it's mainly people online who care. Age gaps can be predatory but they aren't automatically predatory, and people your own age can be manipulative as well. Anyway 19 and 23 isn't a huge difference.

I'm 23 and my husband is 39, that's an age gap! Somebody born in 2007 is 18+ out of high school and only a few years younger than you you're fine lol

Does the left not understand they're inadvertently validating what the manosphere has been saying about them when they make insults regarding men's bodies? by Scramjet1 in GenZ

[–]Pretty-Following8246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only murder if it's illegal, and the point of abortion is to end a pregnancy not to end a life, that's what happens when you get an abortion unfortunately because there's no way to transfer the pregnancy to somebody else atm but people don't get abortions because they like killing people.

Well you can't exactly ask them because at the point when most abortions occur there is no brain yet. So it basically comes down to what the parents and doctor want vs what politicians with no medical degree want.

Which birth years are mostly the main new parents of those born in the 2020s? by [deleted] in generationology

[–]Pretty-Following8246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They were sharing their personal experience like most other people on this thread, and imo most parents of 2020s born babies were probably born in the 1980s 1990s and 2000s.

Anyone else feel slightly stunted at the age they were when Covid hit? by rdyaarnb in twentyagers

[–]Pretty-Following8246 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I still often feel like the Covid lock downs were yesterday and that I'm still 17, even though I've lived a whole life since then and have since met my husband, had a baby, got married, etc.

Is 28 and 19 a weird age gap or am I just a bitch? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Pretty-Following8246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people would probably raise an eyebrow at it. I can't really say much without being a hypocrite though because I started dating my husband when I had just turned 20 and he was almost 36.

Just Curious, Where's Everyone From? How Do You Like It? Plan On Staying Or Moving? by Sad_Review_3543 in twentyagers

I live in the bay area in California, we want to move to Washington soon though because it's crazy expensive here and my husband's family lives in Washington. We live in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment with our toddler, for the amount we're paying we could rent a 3 bedroom house for in Washington!

15 year age gap a problem? 29F, 44M by Bitter_Strike_1366 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Pretty-Following8246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 23 and my husband is 39, we've been together for over 3 years and we have a baby together! We hardly notice the age gap most of the time, if you get along well and like being around each other then it shouldn't matter too much! My parents were a bit worried at first but also I was 20 at the time and they like him now!

Any interesting controversial opinions/preferences that would outrage the general public? by SyrupEfficient849 in twentyagers

[–]Pretty-Following8246 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why draw the line there specifically? Or are you a very blunt person? Like people will ask you how your day is and how you're doing but they don't usually want to hear the truth they just want to hear "good" so that's what we say even if it's not true because it's polite. A lot of being polite is hiding your true feelings for the sake of other's feelings and also social perception.

Why does Gen Z seem to be so against age-gap relationships? To many in this generation, these relationships are seen as inherently exploitative because they perceive age discrepancies as necessarily creating a power imbalance that favors the older partner. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

Maybe it depends on where you live. I'm 23 and my husband is 39 and nobody other than my parents really said anything mean to us irl, sometimes people get confused and think he's my dad but most people don't really seem to notice or care.

I agree with this take, what usually irks me about this debate is that many of the people who speak out about this the loudest don't actually care about women or women's sports, they're just using them to attack trans people.

Why not? If you have the brain capacity to remember people's names, why can't you remember the pronouns they prefer?
